"These are the stories America needs to hear about the remarkable young men and women who serve." - Admiral William H. McRaven, US Navy (Ret.). The most moving and powerful war stories ever told, by the men and women who lived them.

Walk in my Combat Boots is a powerful collection crafted from hundreds of original interviews by James Patterson, the world's #1 bestselling writer, and First Sergeant US Army (Ret.) Matt Eversmann, part of the Ranger unit portrayed in the movie Black Hawk Down.

These are the brutally honest stories usually only shared amongst comrades in arms. Here, in the voices of the men and women who've fought overseas from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan, is a rare eye-opening look into what wearing the uniform, fighting in combat, losing friends and coming home is really like. Readers who next thank a military member for their service will finally have a true understanding of what that thanks is for.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

James Patterson is the world's bestselling author. The creator of Alex Cross, he has produced more enduring fictional heroes than any other novelist alive. He lives in Florida with his family. Matt Eversmann retired from the Army after twenty years of service. His last assignment was as an Infantry Company First Sergeant in the 10th Mountain Division during the surge in Iraq. He spent almost half of his career in the 75th Ranger Regiment and was a member of Task Force Ranger, the unit immortalized in the film Black Hawk Down. Matt and his family live in West Palm Beach where he runs his own consulting company, Eversmann Advisory. Chris Mooney is the international bestselling author of fourteen thrillers. I think it runs big. Otherwise good. Poor packaging though.
Color: Light Blue, Size: Large
I ordered a Large. I am 5’ 9 1/2”. Fit, 170lbs (athletic/slim build). The Large was noticeably too big. Looked “sloppy”, like it fit once and then I lost a bunch of weight. That said, the material/weight was very nice. This is a nicely made, casual blazer. Will look good with jeans/khakis or dressier pants. REALLY nice for the price (I got it on sale, 50% off ($31.99) though. Maybe a push, or nicer ones for $60/70, but I’d still say a good value. Packaged in a bag as people have mentioned. I’ve returned for a medium & will probably have to take to the dry cleaner immediately to have pressed, but still worth it. UPDATE: returned for a size M. Much better fit for my size. This one was packaged nicer too. Still in a bag, but folded nicely enough to wear right away. I’m planning on buying more colors.

Horrible quality and service
Color: Navy Blue, Size: Medium
The quality of the jacket is horrible. After the jacket was returned unused. The company kept trying to say it was never returned. Was able to provide Amazon with the tracking from UPS showing it was delivered and signed for. Amazon issued the refund. 4 months later now, the company is trying g to charge me again for the jacket. Was able to prove again to Amazon the item was signed for when returned. Amazon is issuing a refund again. Do not trust this company with your credit card. They will continue to try and charge you months later.
