The wood from this tree has a beautiful ivory and peach color with very fine grain. The peach color is concentrated in several mineralization streaks that will show up well in a finished bowl. Madrona Bowl Blank Md-46 2.9" x 5" x 5" 1.7 lbs. This is a small half-log bowl blank of Pacific Madrone wood. The wood from this tree has a beautiful ivory and peach color with very fine grain. The peach color is concentrated in several mineralization streaks that will show up well in a finished bowl. The grain is long and straight with no visible knots. This is a classic half-log blank, split through the center of the log. The pith lies at the cut face. I've sealed this blank well with Anchor seal but cracks do sometimes form while drying. If any appear, I recommend reinforcing and filling the cracks with CA glue prior to turning. The bark is complete and well-attached, so you have the option of turning either a conventional bowl or a "barky" natural-edge bowl. If you want a full bark edge on the natural rim, you will need to secure the bark with CA glue before and possibly during turning. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried bowl blank, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It was measured at 14% moisture content in June 2023. This is a nice, solid bowl blank. I do not see any flaws or areas of concern. About the Tree This Madrona tree was blown down during a snowstorm that hit San Juan Island in December 2022. It lived on the west side of the island, near Lime Kiln State Park, a famous orca watching location. |

Awesome Suit!!
I purchased this suit for my boyfriend to wear to a party. I ordered an XL, he is 6'6" and 230lbs, initially the fit was fantastic and looks amazing but after wearing it and moving around in it for about 30 minutes, the pants started to slip down. The fabric has quite a bit of spandex in it and tends to stretch out after wearing for a little bit, it fits great right after it has been dried but then stretches out again. I ended up taking in the waist a little bit so the pants stay up, a large would likely have been a better fit. But he always looks amazing when he wears it and gets lots of compliments on the fun pattern. Definitely worth it!

Great suit!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Mage Male dress suit. The material feels very soft with a velvet-like texture that makes the entire outfit pop without being over the top. This suit is perfect for prom, weddings, or any event where you want to elevate your look a bit.
Sizing was accurate for me, so make sure you follow the size chart closely. I recommend picking up an inexpensive tape measure here on Amazon to double-check your measurements — it makes a difference. For the price, this suit is absolutely worth it and I’d buy it again.

Overall looks great. The fit was good other than the pants were a little too long and the adjustable bow tie strap was a little to short. I'm 5'9.5" and 170lbs with longer than average limbs for a comparison.
