Il Sale Indiano Viola Kala Namak (chiamato anche Sanchal) è un sale alimentare fossile originario dell'India Centrale. L'aspetto ed il colore sono molto particolari: di consistenza molto morbida e quasi soffice presenta caratteristiche cromatiche che sfumano dal rosa intenso, al viola fino al grigio scuro. Dalla consistenza morbida e vellutata , quasi impalpabile, questo sale si caratterizza per grani finissimi, dall'odore decisamente particolare. Ricorda, infatti, quello dell'uovo per via dello zolfo in esso contenuto che però si stempera molto durante la fase di cottura. Il Sale Kala Namak è un sale di roccia molto utilizzato nella cucina indiana ed è particolarmente indicato per la realizzazione di ricette etniche ma anche nelle fritture, zuppe e persino nelle macedonie di frutta, specialmente se preparate con frutta tropicale. Works quickly to calm itch
