Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.098". Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.

I have a Pit-Mastiff mix and she loves to chew toys, but her breed also means she’s got an outrageous amount of strength in those jaws, making it hard to find toys that can last without getting torn up super easily. She gnaws on this thing every day for a good bit of time, and it doesn’t have any weak spots, holes, chunks missing, NOTHING, except a few dimples. It’s firm but also has give to it that (I think) really provides a good chewing option. It’s got enough weight and give to it that I can throw it for her and it’ll bounce without flying around crazy like some toys. The toy itself is not super cute, but my dog definitely is when she’s carrying it around everywhere 🥹 My only con is that I wish it came in other colors! I was surprised that she liked it so much because she typically prefers bright colored toys like red/orange/blue/green. It took some time, but once she warmed up to it and realized she could chew as hard as she wanted on it, it was game over from there.

Within an hour of receiving this K9 Chew Stick, our 55lb Staffordshire Terrier began chewing pieces off the top of toy.
