This kit can be purchased with a probe-style temperature sensor or with a 1/8" NPT thread-in sensor to fit the needs of any project. The Mishimoto Fan Controller features adjustable activation from 150 degrees Fahrenheit to 240 degrees Fahrenheit and deactivates once temperatures are reduced by 10 degrees Fahrenheit. This controller includes a built-in A/C override feature and is designed for use with 1-2 electric fans drawing a combined 25 amps or less. Works as intended but lowers airflow
Style: HEPA
I got this because of the wildfire smoke in my area. It definitely filters out smell compared to a regular filter so I'm assuming it's also filtering out larger particles in the air.
However, I've noticed that the airflow is reduced by a lot and the car is a lot warmer on the same setting I've used for years.
It's a trade off and I might just rotate filters depending on AQI and how hot it is since it takes like a minute to change it out.
I would recommend it if you live in an area that's smoky or cooler but not in places that get hot.

Fits 2018 Honda Cr-V LX FWD. Be sure to install this filter with the arrow pointing down. Note that the plastic cover that holds the filter in place has an arrow pointing up to show you which direction to orient the plastic cover, not the filter, which again, should have the arrow pointing down.
