The RAM-233U rail kit consists of a U shaped rail adaptor that connects to a round 2.5" base. All hardware to connect the rail adapter to the plate is included, along with a rubber strip to allow a tight grip on the rail.

Instructions
RAM-233 RAM Rail Mount Adaptor Kit is used with any standard 2 7/16” diameter base to convert it to rails ranging from 3/4” to 1” dia.

Wrap the necessary length of rubber strip around the rail where the base will be attached. Assemble base with adapter around the rubber strip using 3 screw and nuts, drill a 5/32” hole through the adaptor and rail where it won’t be visible, apply some soap to lock screw and tighten.
