The Craft: Beaded Curtain Design
Inspired by the beaded curtains in ancient girls' rooms, this hair stick features three dangling chains of shell pearls and gold-plated copper. The chains are attached to the main body via small loops at the base of the decorative end. A yellow gemstone set in a gold-colored bezel and a row of small white pearls along the top edge complete the piece.
The black base has a curved, ornamental shape with a slight wave-like design. The gold setting around the gemstone has a floral or scalloped pattern. The pearls are strung along the chain links, creating a strong sense of drape and elegant movement.
The Ebony Wood
Ebony is one of the densest hardwoods, naturally black with a fine, even grain. It polishes to a glossy finish without needing lacquer. The wood is heavy and rigid, making it a reliable base for the hanging elements.
Expect slight variation in the wood's surface texture and the exact shade of black — these are marks of a genuine natural material, not defects. The shell pearls may vary slightly in luster and size.
Fit & Care
Works well for all hair volumes, including very thick and heavy hair. The rigid ebony shaft holds weight well. Not ideal for very short hair (above shoulder length) — consider our short hair sticks for shorter lengths.
Care: Wipe with a dry cloth after use. Avoid water, humidity, and direct sunlight. Do not yank on the chains — they are delicate.
