The color is the strong golden yellow of Bodark heartwood, with a surface patina developing of the deeper medium brown and golden tones of aged bodark. The color is the strong golden-yellow of Bodark heartwood, with a surface patina developing of the deeper medium brown and golden tones of aged bodark. There's a small amount of surface debris on the board (probably slightly muddy hands touching it, sorry!). It will clean or sand right off. There is an indentation on the front face just below the annotation (see 1st, 3rd photos). This appears to be a slice through a thin bark inclusion in the tree trunk. There is also a network of old fractures caused by stress while growing, such as from a hurricane. If you were to cut the fractured wood away, I estimate that you'd have a 1" thick board that is 2.5" across and 14" long. This board is on sale at a reduced price on account of its extra personality. |

Colloidal is good
I used this non greasy oil on my scalp and it is good for dry scalp,but i didn't like it on my pillow case. It's fragrance free until sleeping with it on my scalp

no substitute for Aveeno
Pros: There's no smell (yay--I don't get why folks say it smells like oatmeal; it doesn't, it just smells like it doesn't have perfume added), and it spreads well. BUT: it's too thin and doesn't last well enough. Had my first eczema flair in years while using this. I'm going back to Aveeno fragrance-free. At least I tried.

its ok
its ok, has a lot of chemicals in it, but not 2% of colloidal oatmeal which is recommended for an eczema lotion. i like this brand because its cruelty free but this is not great for eczema. i actually like that it is not thick, but it doesnt calm my dry itchy skin very much.

It’s a great all-round lotion, it does what it says it does.
It is one of the lightest moisturizers I’ve used, perfect for whole body. Though, naturally, using more makes it more moisturizing, and it does have a big pump. It spreads and absorbs well. It is not sticky, but silky. It calms itchy, irritated skin. It’s pH-balanced. It has very nice ingredients. It has a lot of nutrients skin needs. It is fragrance-free, though the aromatic alcohol preservatives impart a slight rose-almond odor. It’s a good price. It’s a nice bottle and pump. However, it would be nice if it were more reliably and widely available.
