Had me in happy tears๐ฅน

Lewis is a really funny person and I love how he discussing the way transitioning can affect multiple people, like parents, friends, and teachers.
I also feel very related to by this book despite not having the same experience he did. Itโs a testament to his amazing writing that he can so well encapsulate the Transgender Experience, whilst still telling a personal story. Highly recommend.

Recommended it to others!

I discovered Lewis through TikTok and even showed a few of his videos to my mom. While Iโm a bit younger than Lewis, my mom and I laughed at his videos because they reminded us of my emo teen self. While our journeys in life are hardly similar, and I still identify with my biological sex, I absolutely loved this book and told my therapist friend about it. She made a note to recommend it to some of her young clients going through their own trans journeys. Thank you Lewis for reminding me of my teenage emo escapades and making the world seem not-so-lonely for those struggling with their true selves. Itโs needed today more than ever. โฅ๏ธ

So cute!
Format: Paperback
Funny and so adorable! I love Lewisโs relationship with his mom! Itโs so addictive I read the whole book in a single sitting! There is a few strips of nudity as well as a couple suggestive scenes (very brief), so absolutely intended for kids who have/are learning about puberty! And of course, you get what you pay for. If you buy a book written by a trans man telling his story, of course youโre going to have trans representation. Over all, so, so adorable!

beautiful story
Format: Kindle
Iโve grown up around trans friends, and LGBTQ community. My uncle, as well as my sibling are gay, and gay culture has always been something Iโve grown up with. When I got a bit older I developed friendships with trans individuals and it was a learning experience, since I came from a very sheltered high school and middle school. This book fully communicates the trans experience in my opinion and can better help others to understand those around them who are transitioning. Thank you Lewis for sharing your story, youโre awesome.

An incredible work of art!

This is the most beautiful book I own. Gorgeous illustrations. Poignant story. A masterclass in composition and structure. Just an amazing piece of art.
