Am Gaumen zeigen sich saftige Cranberry, feine Kräuterwürze und eine dezente Süße, die die Frucht klar hervorhebt. Die Textur wirkt seidig und geschmeidig. Reife, feinkörnige Tanninen geben Halt, ohne zu beschweren. Subtile Holznuancen aus französischer und amerikanischer Eiche fügen Vanille- und Gewürzakzente hinzu. Die Säure hält das Profil frisch und trinkanimierend. Der Nachhall ist lang, elegant und würzig-fruchtig.

Rebsorte Zinfandel

Zinfandel, in Italien als Primitivo bekannt, bringt aromatische Rotweine mit viel Charme hervor. Typische Aromen sind dunkle Beeren wie Brombeere und Schwarzkirsche, dazu Cranberry, Pflaume, etwas Pfeffer und Anis. Am Gaumen meist mittelkräftig bis kräftig, mit saftiger Frucht, moderater Säure und weichen, reifen Tanninen. Kurze bis mittlere Holzreife ergänzt Vanille, Karamell und feine Gewürze, ohne die Frische zu verdecken. In Stellenbosch zeigt Zinfandel reife Frucht bei guter Balance, oft mit einem eleganten, seidigen Mundgefühl und langem, würzig-fruchtigem Nachhall.

Passt zu

Der Idiom Rotwein Zinfandel passt hervorragend zu Karoo-Lamm oder Lammkoteletts mit Kräuterkruste, da die Kräuternoten des Weins die Würze des Fleisches spiegeln. BBQ-Rippchen profitieren von der Kombination aus dezenter Süße, Würze und der saftigen Frucht. Überraschend stimmig zu Sushi mit Wasabi, weil die reife Frucht und die weiche Textur die leichte Schärfe abfedern. Gegrilltes oder geröstetes Gemüse wie Aubergine, Paprika und Zucchini greift die Kräuteraromatik auf und betont die Frische. I am 19 and I am "unofficially" engaged. I know that he and I will most certainly without a doubt be getting married. "Things I Wish I'd Known Before We Got Married" has truly taught us a lot of valuable lessons and I know we will keep the things we have learned from this book close at hand in the coming years. We thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, but what really made it interesting and kept us flipping the pages were the little anecdotes that were shared about other couples. Listening or reading their experiences really helped us relate to the situations that were being explained. We also liked the "Talking it Over" segments at the end of each chapter. Those we extremely useful when it came to understanding all the information that was just handed to us in the previous reading. I can not stop telling people about this book. I already have my sister and her husband reading it and it has greatly improved their relationship now after almost 4 months of marriage. I have also recommended it to each of my parents and my fiancé's parents as well because I know they could greatly benefit from it as I did. Thank You!
