Well known for their ceramic tiles and their unique designs H&R Johnson were based in Stoke On Trent (or more commonly known as potter heaven!) and mass produced a variety of ceramic products but tiles being their specialty. This particular tiles intended use, is as a trivet, which if you have any kitchen worktop not natural
This beautiful ceramic trivet features a hand painted antelope design which is so gorgeous it would look beautiful on the wall! Well known for their ceramic tiles and their unique designs H&R Johnson were based in Stoke On Trent (or more commonly known as potter heaven!) and mass produced a variety of ceramic products but tiles being their specialty.
This particular tiles intended use, is as a trivet, which if you have any kitchen worktop not natural stone is essential! Helping keep your worktops from either burning or melting by hot pans, this tile keeps a cool barrier whilst storing well on your wall should you need.
Overall it is in good condition, considering its age, with no major crazing or staining to the white design. It does have a couple of small chips to the edge as shown and measures at approximately 15cm in diameter.
