De Chassagne-Montrachet “La Bergerie” 2022 opent met aroma’s van rijpe citrus, witte perzik, amandel en een lichte kruidigheid. In de mond is de wijn vol en gestructureerd, met een mooie spanning tussen rijp fruit, romige textuur en frisse zuren. De afdronk is lang en gedragen door een uitgesproken kalkrijke mineraliteit.

Vinificatie.
Na handmatige oogst worden de druiven direct geperst. De vergisting vindt plaats in eikenhouten vaten, waarvan een deel nieuw hout om extra complexiteit toe te voegen. De wijn rijpt ongeveer 12 maanden op vat en krijgt daarna een rustperiode van circa 6 maanden in roestvrij staal om precisie en frisheid te behouden, gevolgd door flesrijping.

Het domein.
Darviot-Perrin bezit meerdere percelen in Chassagne-Montrachet en werkt hier volgens dezelfde filosofie als in Meursault: duurzame wijngaardzorg, minimale interventie en een klassieke, verfijnde opvoeding. “La Bergerie” is een expressieve maar elegante Chassagne, waarin kracht en finesse perfect in balans zijn.

Relief for your eyes if work on the computer
