Tasting Notes

Probitas has a light straw color and a rich fragrance of vanilla. At 94 proof, it packs a nuanced punch of citrus peel, molasses, and banana. This beautiful blend of three rums harkens back to the rums used during the golden age of Cuban cocktails in the post-Prohibition era of the 1930s.

Production Notes

Foursquare Probitas White Blended Rum is a blend of three different rums from two highly-regarded Caribbean distilleries. The rums include an unaged pot still rum from Hampden Estate, an unaged coffey column still rum from Foursquare, and a 2 year tropically aged pot still rum from Foursquare.

The three rums are blended by Mr. Richard Seale.

Distillation, maturation, blending and bottling all take place in the Caribbean.

No sugar, flavor, color, nor neutral/multi column spirit added.

This distinctive rum is bottled at a higher proof, 47% Alc/Vol, to showcase bold character, especially in cocktails.
