Description:
What do you find more trustworthy, experts or numbers, personal know-how or objective facts ? Can science claim special authority based on the objectivity of its methods? Are our ethical decisions always better when we strive to be impartial and unbiased? Why should we value objectivity, and is it achievable anyway?
These are a few of the thought-provoking questions Guy Axtell asks in this comprehensive new text book, employing examples from the natural and social sciences as well as philosophy. This unique introduction surveys the key issues in a clear and concise way, assessing the nature of objectivity and value of the demand to be impartial decision-makers. Moving beyond the fundamentals, Axtell explores contemporary feminist and social epistemological attempts to reconstruct the concept of objectivity, explains the implications of the so-called science wars for philosophy and the analytical method, and the ethical consequences of these debates.
Objectivity is an excellent introduction to one of the most exciting areas of study in philosophy and science today. Students and scholars alike will value this balanced guide to a hotly contested, and vitally important, topic.

Love These Toner Pads
Scent: Collagen
I’ve really been enjoying these Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads! They feel super refreshing on the skin and are an easy step to add into my routine. The pads are well-soaked without being messy, and they glide on smoothly.
After using them consistently, my skin feels more hydrated and looks a bit more plump and smooth. I’ve also noticed my pores appear slightly minimized, especially around my T-zone. They’re gentle enough for daily use and don’t irritate my skin.
Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a simple way to boost hydration and improve your skin’s overall look and feel!

Finally!!
Scent: Collagen
I have had huge pores with combination oily skin and dry skin since reaching my mid 30’s and makeup made them more prominent. Since adding these to my morning routine my makeup stays smooth with my pores minimized and skin looking and feeling healthier. After trying multiple products I finally found THE ONE.

Great product
Scent: Collagen
Been using this for several months and love love it. My skin is moisturized and has decreased the visibility of fine lines. This is a staple in my skin care routine.

My pores look a bit tighter and my makeup sits better after using them
Scent: Collagen
I did not expect toner pads to make this much of a difference, but these honestly surprised me. The texture is more like a soft gel than a typical cotton pad, so it feels really soothing on the skin instead of scratchy. I’ve been using them both as a quick swipe toner and also leaving them on for a few minutes like a mini mask, and my skin looks noticeably more hydrated and smooth.
What I love most is that they don’t irritate my skin at all, even on days when I’m more sensitive. My pores look a bit tighter and my makeup sits better after using them. The only downside is I go through them quickly because I like using multiple at once. Overall, they feel like a little luxury step that actually works.
